What Influenced the Title of The Dorner Protocol?

As evident in the above video, the title of my first novel was influenced by the international manhunt for Christopher Dorner.
I attempted to walk the fine line of using that event as a guiding framework or influence for the story but also be careful not to lionize him. Especially considering he targeted the families. I can make an argument for why he did it and I understand why he did according to his manifesto but still, he had no family of his own to target. Read the work before you make a judgment on that statement but I think that matters. At the time I was enraptured by the event because of the anti-authoritarian nature of his crusade and if you have followed my work over the years you can easily guess why I would especially be interested in his manhunt. Considering the allusion of care in mainstream society about police accountability I found it apt to reference.
